I spent um, to much time trying to build various projects using PiBorg controllers and other bits but now want to have another go! Especially as along the way I got into 3d printing...
So will PicoBorg Reverse and Ultraborg etc work with the latest Buster, does the PS3 still connect (with a few issues)?
I was amazed that my big 4 wheeler worked after sitting in a box for 4 years inc good battery charge! The PS3 needed re pairing and charging but all was good!

Hi, what Would I need to delete in order to have the Diddyweb ui working without the video stream.
And would it be possible to run this with a video feed through the composite jack.
I feel I could get better /faster video transmitted over a RC video transmitter but still have remote control via the web UI buttons.
Thaks

Hi, In order to relieve the lockown boredom I've resurrected my Piborg. Over the years I've added to the original DiddyWeb script. I've changed backgound colours and button shapes. I've added wifi strength and a shutdown button. I've been having a bit of trouble lately.
I run this script using sudo ~/diddyborg-web/diddyWeb1.py in the terminal.

I am having an intermittent problem with Gamepad. My DiddyBorg has a PI 4 2Gb "brain" and when not roaming the house on its own is manually controlled by a PS3 controller and Gamepad. I last updated the RPi OS about a week ago.
Every now and again while manually driving the robot the software will stop responding to button presses from the controller. Strangely enough the axis commands from the joysticks will still function. The problem is resolved by a reboot of the Pi so I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with the controller.

I've had my friend and companion "Diddy" for five years now. He's progressed from an original DiddyBorg V1, bought as a special birthday present, to an intelligent (although frustrating) member of the family. Loved by my grandchildren, equipped with eyes and ears, headlamps and a Lidar he has been roaming around the house, talking to us in his espeak voice as he tries to find the picture of the duck or snake hidden in the kitchen, scratching the furniture as the avoidance routines fail to react quickly enough.

Hi there!
I am a long time user of a PicoBorg Reverse and BattBorg. I constructed a mobile robot which uses those two PCBs and a Raspberry Pi 3 to control 4 DC motors through your WebUI. Until now, I've used the ServoBlaster library which enables me to control two aditional servos on my robot (PAN/TILT stuff) through software generated PWM that the ServoBlaster drivers provide.

Can I somehow get battery level from the Picoborg Reverse so I can show it on the WebUI?

Hi
Can someone please help me
I have a Picoborg Reverse (and a Diddyborg metal edition) and a Ultraborg, I have combined all these parts in to my own robot build
I currently use the metalweb.py web interface to control the Robot
BUT I want to be able to show the Ultraborg sensor readings which I can see in ubWeb.py to the metalwb.py interface so everything I need is on one webpage
