I am having a very strange issue with the board and motors. The board works perfectly up until i connect my motors and try to run them. When running the motors i get a very high pitched noise and barley any movement. The voltage reading on the terminals when the motors are connected fluctuates between 1.5 and 0.4 (which is obviously no where near enough). When no motors are connected to the PicoBorg's screw terminals the reading gives me a perfect 12.7 Volts. Any help would be appreciated.

How many motors with encoders can be run from a Raspberry Pi?

We have bought two PicoBorg reverse devices, and after a brief period of working, both have decided to fail. Both cant be found, one appears missing even when using sudo i2cdetect -y 1 , the other has a fully populated i2c table but returns the error " Found a device at 44 but it is not a PicoBorg Reverse.
We have checked all wiring connections using a multimeter and bought a brand new Raspberry Pi 3.
It would be great if you could help us out.

My DiddyBorg has started to misbehave. He's running headless as a WIFi access point on a Pi 3 with a PS3 controller. In automode runs around the room following directions from "left" and "right" symbols printed on card using OpenCV (he even gets it right if the lighting is good!).
I recently added an UltraBorg and ultrasonic sensors and an XLoBorg to get his compass heading, all of which work well. I have also added rotary encoders to the wheels either side to get an accurate distance run. (Using the scroll wheels and encoders from "Poundland" mice).

Hey guys.
After i have assembled most of the piborg, i decided to connect my raspberry pi to a screen and run some of your cool guiding scripts.
But i am getting some annoying errors.
1. It said that i haven't install cv2 when i ran sudo ~/diddyborg-web/diddyWeb.py. The same error was thrown at me even after "sudo apt-get install cv2" i tried installing openCV aswell.
I then commented the section with cv2 out in the script, which led to an error i don't understand:

I had real trouble getting a playstation remote to connect to the Pi, maybe because two of them were clones.
I have managed to get a WII remote to connect to Bluetooth using cwiid and the python instructions at https://www.raspberrypi.org/learning/robo-butler/wiimote-setup/
Now I want to connect to the diddyborg and guide him?
Any pointers/advise would be much appreciated.

Hi,
Have been searching around, but confused on a certain part. The motors that come with the diddyborg are 6v. I have noticed that adjusting the power settings significantly increase the speed of the diddyborg.
But what is confusing is if we leave the default settings as power out 6V, wouldn't that get divided by 6 since there is 6 motors? How is 6v output set in the script actually supplying 6v to each motor? Seems like it would be 6v/6 = 1v to each motor?

Hi PiBorg
I would like to increase the Amps output to my DC Motors up to 10 amps per Motor. I have now purchased 2 Picoborg Rev. I have a Battborg attached to one of them to power my Raspberry Pi3 and I also have a Triborg. Can I just use the Triborg to Parallel connect everything Identically. Except for the one Picoborg Rev with the Battborg connected?
